Planning a wedding in fall is a brilliant idea, especially for those who love the changing colors of the season. The amazing landscapes, the crisp air, the summery vibe that still lingers around – these are among the most beautiful aspects of fall that can convince a couple to go this way. Modern brides and grooms can plan their own wedding décor, based on the vision they have. One great way to obtain perfect personalized results is to use the nature as a guide. You can get inspired by the rich range of decorations and colors found in nature during this time of the year. Your décor can be as formal or casual as you wish. You can go traditional or trendy, you decide

There is no need to follow the old etiquette rules for cold season weddings if you don’t feel like. You know that now you can benefit of more freedom than ever before in designing, organizing and decorating your wedding as you wish. And when it comes to seasonal celebrations, the Mother Nature is the only safe and rich source of inspiration you should exploit for your big day. You should envision your wedding ceremony first and then decide on the perfect décor and colors for the setting. Establish the venue and see what you can do to enhance its specific. If you’re marrying in church, start adorning the church doors and the entryway.

You can do this in a special way by using dried cornstalks or hay. This should help you create shocks to flank the church doors. To add even more rusticity to your event, hang a few romantic fall flower wreaths on the doors. You can use the same types of arrangements for the rest of the wedding. Your bouquet can contain roses, chrysanthemums, calla lilies, dahlias or zinnias, in deep red, plum and other rusty colors. Continue with the reception setting. For the stationery you can use cream and beige or chocolate brown to accent the décor in a more elegant way. Do this for the invitations, guest book, table numbers, programs and tablecloths. Use woven baskets to place the cards and other elements of décor you picked for the tables, and for the flower girls. Use raffia to tie different items. Instead of hanging classic white ribbons and bows to the pews and reception chairs, use dried mini floral wreaths.

Accent them in the colors of the season, and don’t forget to use a few pinecones and acorns to obtain a more rustic feel. You should not take things as they come. Try to make them fit your wedding. For instance, if you’re planning a gold themed wedding, dye the pine cones and maple leafs with glittery gold sprays or wrap them in bronze organza fabrics. Use fall garlands for the altar rails, candelabras and head table. You can have fun creating fall garlands out of dried blooms, leaves and fruits, grapevines and sunflowers in real or silk shapes. Mocha, chocolate brown, maroon, cream, ecru, ivory and beige are ideal colors for an autumnal wedding.
