All brides want to find the perfect dress, and this concept is still difficult to define, since no bride is like the other. Full figure brides with a bigger bust may need special guidelines in finding the right dress style for their big day.

Most busty brides prefer to go for an A-line gown, because this style is the most versatile. Compared to other silhouettes, A-line or princess wedding dresses hug the body and highlight the best of the bride’s figure: the curves, the waist and the bust line.

Corset style wedding dresses are ideal for brides with a bigger bust, since a corset can provide with more support for the breasts. Corset dresses know just how to emphasize the femininity of a woman’s body, hiding the flaws in an elegant way.

Dropped waist wedding dresses is just another recommendation for busty brides who wish to obtain a taller look. The dropped waist creates an elongating effect on the waist and accentuates the area between the bust and the hips.

Necklines for busty brides include the following styles: V, neck, sweetheart and scoop neck. Off the shoulders wedding dresses are romantic and totally adequate for large bust brides. Nevertheless, don’t choose a very deep cleavage that will show more than you should. The wedding dress must give you an elegant look, so try to avoid those dress styles that appear rather trashy than classy.  You should keep in mind that high necklines and halter tops are not for you. These styles will only make you look bulkier.

Avoid heavy ornamental designs and large embellishments around the neck. They will make you appear and feel heavy. Rich details and heavy beadwork are not for busty bride dresses. Look for a style with a simple, clean neckline and bust line.

The bra is a key element for a busty woman and her wedding dress. Look for a style that fits your bust line perfectly. This is no time to choose an old bra that can’t do anything for you. Fitted bras make a wedding dress flatter a big bust and help you define your waist.

As for the lower part of the dress, it’s important to keep a balance between the top and the bottom of the dress. Choose a dress with moderate fullness, like an A-line dress. This style will help you achieve a balanced, thinner look. Anyway, if you have a passion for heavy decorated wedding dresses, make sure that the rich details are placed on the skirt and not on the top. This will minimize the look of your bust.

Wedding dresses for busty brides normally have a 3 or 4 size. Before you decide on a wedding gown, make sure you try enough styles to find one that suits you perfectly. Don’t go alone shopping for your wedding dress because you may end up depressed and caught up in big dilemmas. Take a few girl pals with you to hear their opinion. Ask them to be honest with you and give you their best recommendations on the dress that flatters your body.
